"He's Dead Jim" Roberto Orci 1973-2025

Image
So I heard the big news that someone famous person died recently...well, aside from Michelle Trachtenberg of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (RIP) Roberto Orci Screenwriter mostly known for his work from JJ Abrams' Star Trek, Mission Impossible 2, and the Transformers franchise, has died in his home due to Kidney failure... (Sounds familiar?  If you know, you know.) Roberto, or as the Alumni from AICN referred to his as "Bob" despite having achieved success from two major franchises along with the FOX TV series Fringe, was not necessarily welcomed on the forums as many would call him out for his writing or lack thereof.  He was smug, arrogant and after watching those horrible Transformers films, a closeted racist as with his former screenwriting partner Alex Kurtzman. His depictions of two Autobots Mudflap and Skids were insensitive caricatures of racial stereotypes that came off like a fucking minstrel act! How Hasblow that creep Michael Bay, and the overrated Steven Spielber...

How Dystopian Movies are Now More Relevant Than Ever!

The film explores themes of government overreach, societal breakdown, and the loss of individual freedoms. In today's world, the idea of cities turning into isolated zones due to natural disasters or political upheaval reso...

Image
"How they still come for you even when you play by their rules"   Magneto   Just when you thought X-Men 97 creator and Beau DeMayo was done calling out Marvel, the former showrunner of the critically acclaimed series doubles down when discussing the toxic environment, he experienced that was nothing short of soul crushing!   But Demayo drops some heavy gems in his video by calling out those within the animation wing of Marvel Studios as well as the oligarchs. (Kevin Feige, perhaps) Beau mentions how Marvel made several attempts to sabotage him via painting him to be angry, narcissistic and too much of a fanboi when he was just following his passion for the iconic franchise. Demayo cites how he witnessed something that were wrong and reached out to the higher ups at Marvel Studios, they nonchalantly dismissed his concerns. Then there's some disclosure that one of the shows leads is having a sexual relationship with a PA. Also how Marvel ...
