Sega Saturn: The Little Black Engine that couldve Been a Contender!

To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the 32-Bit platform's official release, this retrospective covers the  lows and low blows of Sega's underrated console-The Sega Saturn. Tony Todd has Reached His Final Destination. RIP Legend!

As if this week couldn't get any worse, now there's news that iconic Horror legend Tony Todd has made the transition at the age of 69 from Cancer. While known for his appearances in 1996's The Rock,  Night of the Living Dead , it was 1992's Candyman that jumpstarted his career to prominence.  Based on a short story " The Forbidden" from Horror author Clive Barker, Candyman is a supernatural slasher with sociopolitical allegories. Todd plays as the titular ghost of a black-American artist who was murdered in the late 19th century for having a intimate relationship with the daughter of a wealthy white man and now has come back to reunite with Helen who happens to be his lovers descendant while slaughtering those who would repeat his name five times. Todd was also known for his signature baritone voice which was recently used in Sony's Spider-Man 2 where he portrayed the symbiotic Antihero Venom. Cobra's Candidate Review

With Election day here, what would be more timely than looking into an episode from G I Joe that involves  a very controversial subject matter...politics! Originally aired 39 years ago, episode 30 from season one titled "Cobra's Candidate " the story begins with a Mayoral election with cand8date Ron Harper who is running on the promise to bring "Law and Order" to the urban city  presumably New York.   Harpers speeches are interrupted by a rowdy gang xausing panic in the streets, Colonel  Sharp assigns the Joe team to safeguard the election and restore order. But unbeknownst to our real American Heroes,  is that Harper works as an agent of Cobra who hired the provacutuers i.e. bad actors to stir shit so that the public will turn out in droves to support Cobras candidate.  Out of all Cobra's scheme, fixing elections is the more believable plan compared mass devices, a giant laser to paint Cobra Commander's face on the moon, or a weather controlling Canno...
