Bud Spencer and Terence Hil : The Art Of Beating Up Peopl

This article was long overdue. I grew up on Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies and if I look back at who my childhood heroes were Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were number one. I think they are the first ones who made me appreciate action movies and if there is one duo that personifies the term “Bop and Rumble” it's the duo of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. They made beating up people into an artform. Yes, Bruce Lee did that too, but in the case of Bud Spencer And Terence Hill, they made it funny and entertaining.
I am also convinced that Jackie Chan had them as an inspiration for his movies. I have said it many times and I will say it again. I can only watch the movies in German dubbing.  Bud Spencer was voiced by the legendary Rainer Brandt and Terence Hill was voiced by Thomas Danneberg, who even gave Stallone a better voice that Stallone himself. Those voices are so distinctive and add to the humor of the movies. Yes, the movies are very humorous and quite frankly I don't kn...

Remember the time you went to a video rental store and only wanted to rent Hong Kong movies and US action movies? Movies with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Carter Hwang, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Jeff Speakman, Gary Daniels etc etc? Those were great times. It was something different from the mainstream movies. Then the VHS rental stores went out of business and the DVD and streaming came up. Gone were the days of action movies, were it not for Jason Statham and Scott Adkins. Scott Adkins was considered a B-movie actor, while Statham was seen as an A-movie actor. Scott made one movie after another and there was not one movie of his that didn’t have some awesome action. Scott worked hard and I was wishing that the quality of his movies  improved. And improve they did. Since most of you hardly bother to watch a Scott Adkins movie, now is the time to earn some street cred as a movie fan. Pay attention. These are Scott Adkins’ best movies, that deserve a lot of respect. El...
